To restore hope and purpose within the lives of vulnerable youth and their families through compassionate, faith-based care, education, and empowerment.
Our VisionInspired by the narrative of redemption in 2 Samuel 9, LoDEBAR envisions a world where every young person, regardless of their background or circumstances, is recognized, valued, and empowered.
The organization aims to serve as a sanctuary where youth transition from invisibility to acknowledgment, from social isolation to meaningful connection, and from struggle to resilience—equipped spiritually, emotionally, and practically to reclaim their rightful role in society.
LoDEBAR Youth Renewal Center Ministries, LLC
is a faith-based nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming the lives of marginalized urban youth aged 13 to 17 and their families. The organization draws inspiration from the biblical narrative of Mephibosheth, a young man marginalized and confined, who was abandoned by those responsible for his care to the land of LoDEBAR, representing themes of restoration and belonging. Similar to King David's act of restoring Mephibosheth to honor and dignity, the organization commits itself to supporting adolescents who have been neglected, resistant, or burdened by trauma. The organization aims to guide these individuals towards healing, purpose, and active participation in the community.
